In 1993, it was all about the “post-punk power pop” of Belly! That band Radiohead was just kind of along for the ride on this here tour. Unlikely they’ll ever amount to much. But Belly – BELLY is where it’s at, folks. Reunion tour announced February of 2016, BTW. Seriously. #bellytime.
It’s got kind of a ying and yang thing going for it but little else. Ho-hum. Can't argue with $12 tickets, though.
I would have loved to have caught that lineup. The first Belly album is still an all-time favorite of mine.
